Résumé : | This is an overview of the VET system in Malta. Information is presented according to the following themes : 1. External factors influencing VET : demographics ; economy ; employment and education levels ; regulation of qualifications. 2. Providing vocational education and training in a lifelong learning perspective : diagram of the national education and training system ; government‐regulated VET provision ; other forms of training. 3. Shaping VET qualifications : anticipation of labour needs ; development of qualifications ; quality assurance of VET qualifications ; validation of informal and non-formal learning. 4.
