External factors influencing VET : Population and demographics ; economy and labour market indicators ; educational attainment of the population. 2. Providing vocational education and training in a lifelong learning perspective : diagram of the national education and training system ; government-regulated VET provision ; other forms of training. 3. Shaping VET qualifications : relations between occupational standards, educational standards, core curricula and school programmes ; match between labour market needs and VET provision ; quality assurance in VET; challenges. 4.
