Résumé : | This is an overview of the VET system in Spain. Information is presented according to the following themes : 1. External factors influencing VET ; 2. Providing VET in a lifelong learning perspective : diagram of the national education and training system ; government‐regulated VET provision (VET in the education system and in the National System for Employment ; permeability and openness of National Qualification and Vocational Training System) ; other forms of training. 3. Shaping VET qualifications. 4. Promoting participation in VET : incentives for individuals, enterprises and training providers ; guidance and counselling structures and services informing on existing learning opportunities (dual training, recognition and accreditation of labour experience procedures).
