Résumé :	ReferNet is a network created by CEDEFOP, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training, in 2002, to provide information on National Vocational Education and Training (VET) systems and policies in Members States, Iceland and Norway. This information is displayed in CEDEFOP databases and is used for comparative studies. At country level it gives valuable insights into national VET systems. The Malta Qualifications Council (MQC) is the National Refernet Coordinator. MQC is the Consortium leader leads a national consortium of reputable key organisations in Malta – Consortium associate partners – so as to ensure a high quality standards in the work undertaken within the Refernet consortium. The Consortium Leader, together with the contact persons from these partner organisations, have already managed and successfully coordinated a number of other EU projects related to VET and qualifications. This National Consortium provide the data and expertise related to the national adopted VET systems, thus providing raw data for valuable comparative analysis of VET systems with other countries.
