Résumé :	A partir de 2014, SOLAS est le contact national pour le réseau ReferNet (réseau européen de référence et d’expertise sur l’enseignement et la formation professionnelle) géré par le CEDEFOP. A la date du 19/06/2014, seul l'ancien site ReferNet Ireland est disponible http://www.fas.ie/en/refernet (publié par le FÁS - Training and Employment Authority, organisme dissous en 2012). « SOLAS is the new Further Education and Training Authority in Ireland. It is responsible for funding, planning and co-ordinating training and further education programmes. SOLAS (An tSeirbhís Oideachais Leanúnaigh agus Scileanna) was formally established on 27th October 2013 by Ruairí Quinn T.D., the Minister for Education and Skills. ». SOLAS has a mandate to ensure the provision of 21st century high-quality programmes to jobseekers and other learners. « FÁS has been dissolved ». The Department of Social Protection has already taken over responsibility from FÁS for Community Employment and Employment Services. The new Intreo offices are now the first point of contact for jobseekers and are the gateway for unemployed learners seeking training support. FÁS Training Centres are transferring to the new Education & Training Boards (ETBs), who will take over responsibility for the management of training delivery. The phased handover of FÁS Centres and related training activity will be completed during 2014. This will include Contracted Training and funding for Community Training Centres, Local Training Initiatives and Specialist Training Provision. (cf. http://www.solas.ie/moreinfo.aspx ).
